Johnny and Sam - gaited geldings, black and white brothers that ride and drive, very flashy in harness and dressy enough for any occasion, real crowd pleasers.
Ellie - short for Blue Ribbon Farms Elegant Lady, is the matriarch of the ranch. A registered Percheron, she is our main single carriage horse, but will pull in a pair, either side of the pole. She has been a hitch horse, a logging horse in Sycamore Canyon at Parks Arizona, a jousting horse and now she carries our son Sir Joseph in the jousting games at the FourWinds Renaissance Faire for the Knights of the Argent Spur, with founding Lady Knight Bobbie Patterson, husband Darren Patterson and her Sons Dusty and Steve Martel. She is awesome at anything she does. Sorry, Ellie is not for sale.
